Our Last Kiva Loan of the School Year

The Grade Threes were so happy that enough repayments came in this month so they were able to make a new Kiva loan before the school year ended.
They chose to loan to Sonia in Paraguay. Sonia has a small business doing manicures and pedicures, and has a very good reputation. Sonia lives with her partner Antonio, and their son and daughter.
She will be using her loan (now fully funded with the help of other Kiva users) to purchase materials for her business. Good luck, Sonia!

If you are interested in making your own Kiva loan, there are $25 free trials right now! You have to be an adult, so talk to your parents. Here is a link for more information:

Days Gone By...

Wow! This school year has just flown by! I cannot believe we are a few days away from the end. I have so enjoyed the time I have spent with this lovely group of Grade Threes, and I am going to have many special memories to keep with me from this school year.
What is a special memory you will have from your Grade Three year? Think back throughout the year to decide on one memory that you would like to describe in a comment.
Please remember...
1. Use STRONG sentences
2. EDIT your writing (check your capitals, periods, and spelling).
3. Use DESCRIPTIVE language to SHOW us your memory with your words.

I am excited to see what your special memory is! I will share mine later!
