Happy (Lunar) New Year!

We started a great art project yesterday, learning how to draw New Year's Lions. I borrowed the lesson from a fabulous art teacher. Here is the link to her lesson:

Sea Turtles Underwater

This week we finished an art project using oil pastel and watercolor paint. Check out our work below! We were very proud of the finished product. I love how all of our turtles turned out so unique.

Amazing Grace - First Blog Comments!

Today we read the book Amazing Grace by Mary Hoffman.
What a great story! You can watch a youtube version of it here.

In this book, Grace auditions for Peter Pan even though people tell her she shouldn't. Her grandmother helps her see that with hard work and determination, you can reach your goals.

What is one of your goals for the future? What will you do to achieve that goal?
